In fairness and in light, may we travel a respectable distance to acknowledge and understand ourselves.
To contemplate and perceive one another.
This distance can be vast, and it can be minute.
On the ethereal plains of existence we seek out a deeper connection.
To the Universe, and to something beyond.
In comparison you could just as easily stare into the depths of a blueberry muffin.
These gates of wisdom and light open to us at the end of our journey, but also in our darkest hour.
We must be ready to both jump forward and be aware of the existence of such and event.
To stave our hunger, both spiritual and physical.
I find myself looking out. Past the lily pads and the heavenly guardians and see a new yet familiar place.
A place where the bells will toll.
The bells of love and kindness.
