Japanese Super Blade

Got a little pumped action. About to get a bike (if all goes well), get a chart, and just in time to run a race. If that's not confusing, which it probably isn't, rock n' roll.

Deflation

Feeling the mood might go better with some potato salad.

I might be in a better place if I just go with a regular salad.

I may never know how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tuna salad.

But I'll be damned sure if I don't make a new kind of salad.

Tax Receipt

A nifty little expenditure calculator for Income Tax Spending.

Kind of amazing the United States spends around an estimated 700 billion dollars and the next closest competitor spends an estimated 150 billion. This is of course is if all numbers are accurate, but given these numbers if the U.S. spent 3/4 ($533 billion) as much as they do now they would have considerably more resources for other ventures let alone half ($355 billion) (which would still be more than the next four countries combined (which are top of all military spenders)).

I guess what my point is when you have categories that are considered advancements of society (science(s), education, community, natural resources) having a combined expenditure of about 8 cents on every dollar, something may need to change. This is versus about 25 to 30 cents (and more) for military expenditure. Granted "health care" is up there too (which is funny considering how much care I'm actually receiving..which is none). So, not that I'm a fan, but can someone please explain how President Obama is a "socialist", or are you confusing this with communism. And which version are you referring to?

By the by this was rhetorical. I don't care. Obama isn't a socialist. His administration's policies aren't socialist. A little too hawkish for my tastes. I guess not all is his to blame (unlike I have seen throughout multiple sources), I'm looking at you previous Administrations (please note I listed plural administrations). I guess I can be thankful he didn't start any more major military altercations (unless you count Libya, sigh)........................................This is why I don't like politics anymore.

Nate Ebner:

Sixth Round NFL Draft Pick by the New England Patriots
1.82 meters in height (or close) and 93.1 kg his numbers are:

4.55 second 40 yard dash time (tied for 38th, one of the top times at his position)
10'8 Broad Jump (7th)
3'3 Vertical (tied 9th)
6.59 second 3 cone drill (Top 3)
23 repetitions on the bench (tied for 83rd (out of about 200 participants), top at his position)
4.04 second 20 yard short shuttle (tied 15th).

Played three seasons of College Football and has a very solid background in Rugby. The man looks like an athletic monster and plays with an outrageous intensity. I wish him the best of luck (hoping he is a "superstar in the rough" and has a phenomenally productive season)!

I might have already posted about him, but I'm excited. Those numbers ^ are just "wow". Me thinks the NFL might do well to look into Rugby talent pools more often.

I feel like I've reached a milestone: 1,000 page views.

Now on to 10,000.

Many thanks to those that peek every now and again.

You've left me little Time:

These things are lost, and I cannot seem to find them.
This failure should be noted, but perhaps this is my penance...

Then again, strangely enough, this might be your retribution.
Be wary these deeds because they may come back "ten fold".
Then again, it might not, this here and now is your reward...

So in response I will ask:

Should I play in the mud, after a rainy day in the backyard?
Perhaps I should just grab some holly for my ailments?
Or...
Should I take a vacation just like the family Robinson?
Perhaps I should take time to learn to play the alto saxophone?

I say nay.
Simply because.
And it is no good.

All things come to an end.
This life so full, filled with impermanence.
I will ask again, what is the point?

Perhaps there is none.
Perhaps there is plenty.
It matters not, but matters greatly.

There is a path of minimal expectation and it may be the best road:

Fully realizing the joy and beauty this world has to offer.
Yet knowing, just like a flower given to a pretty lady, that it will mold and decay.
Becoming something new and vibrant in its own right.

Power May

Time is flying in a futuristic car.
Speeding quickly and fervently.
I feel I can barely keep up.
Just have to keep my head level.
Arms bent at 90 degrees.
I'm tired.

Springtime

Isn't really here anymore is it?

Had a suggestion to post videos of myself doing different voices...Hrmmmm.

Almost done with one of those resolutions (woot), hint hint: May.

Don't wanna

Be sedated, or really anything along those lines.
I'm digging the way life is going, down that winding road, that seems so less curvy.
It's all good.
I'm out of bounds son, I won't be apart of this system.
Break it down to the West side, a Zef type of side...

That new day feeling

Chop me up.

Like JT, Timbaland, and Three 6 Mafia.

Let's get it going.

That part where you scream.

Kind of like Prince, except I'm not quite some black sweat.

More like geek sweat, but I'm a little sweet too.

Rock it right. Keep the peace and smile brightly.

May day, mayday, it's the new day.
